Prof. Fubao Sun has long been engaged in research and teaching in the fields of biological resource mining, green and low-carbon biological manufacturing and iterative evolution of biochemical technology. Related topics include key technologies for lignocellulosic sugar production and fermentation biofuels/biochemicals; Biological manufacturing technology of feeding antibiotics; Bio-manufacturing technology of highly active protein peptides/amino acids. The relevant technology platforms are: microbial mutagenesis breeding and molecular modification, microbial enzyme directed evolution, high throughput screening; Plant cell wall structure chemistry, separation and extraction of active components, structure analysis of biological macromolecules; Enzyme reaction process, fermentation process optimization and control.
