Nexus Summit: Sustainability in a Changing World (NEXSUM2024) was successfully held at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) from July 24-27, 2024, Beijing time. The conference was organised by Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and co-organised by the International Association of Management Science and Engineering Technology (IAMSET).

NEXSUM2024 brings together experts, thought leaders and stakeholders from around the world to tackle the complex challenges facing the planet in carbon neutrality, the environment, energy, food security, sustainability and climate change. As the world faces rapid environmental, social and economic change, it is more important than ever to navigate this relationship with thoughtful and innovative solutions.

NEXSUM2024 provides a platform for participants to share the latest research, best practices and innovations in sustainability. Our goal is to foster cooperation and inspire action for a more sustainable and equitable future. Together, we will explore the latest developments in sustainable technologies, policies and governance, and discuss the role of education, advocacy and community engagement in driving sustainable change.

Prof. Dr. Vijai Kumar Gupta, from School of Biotechnology, Dublin City University, delivered a keynote speach entitled "Biobased Biorefineries for Sustainable Production of Biomaterials and Bioenergies".

Closing Ceremony

NEXSUM2024 is an interdisciplinary platform that brings together researchers, industry experts and educators to discuss and present the latest research findings, trends and key issues in the field, as well as in-depth analysis of challenges and strategies. The conference adopted the online synchronous live broadcast mode, which attracted extensive social attention and participation. With the joint efforts of all participants and the strong support of colleagues around the world, the conference was successfully concluded and achieved fruitful results.

The call for papers is officially launched!

Excellent papers selected at this conference can be extended by the authors to be submitted for peer review in journals included in Web of Science, EI Compendex and Scopus, where we will assist and guide you in publishing your papers.
