Nexus Summit: Sustainability in a Changing World (NEXSUM2024) is jointly organized by MOMENT ALPHA Sdn Bhd a startup located at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), co-organized by International Association of Management Science and Engineering Technology (IAMSET). The conference which will be held during July 24-27, 2024, aims to bring together experts, scholars, researchers, policymakers, industry professionals, and students from around the world to navigate the nexus of carbon neutrality, environment, energy, food security, sustainability, and climate change.
The NEXSUM Organizing Committee is honored to invite Prof. Pan Junting from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China and Prof. Fubao Sun from Jiangnan University, China to participate in this conference and deliver speeches!
Pan Junting is a doctor of engineering. He is a researcher of the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Agricultural Regionalization, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He is mainly engaged in research on the utilization of agricultural waste resources and the prevention and control of non-point source pollution in river basins, and has made important progress in the improvement of quality and efficiency of agricultural waste through anaerobic digestion, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by aerobic composting, the preparation and application of bio-based high-value materials and the efficient utilization of bioenergy. He has hosted more than 10 projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, and published more than 50 papers in top journals such as Trends in Biotechnology, Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews as the first or corresponding author. The first consummated person has authorized more than 10 domestic and foreign invention patents.
Prof. Fubao Sun has long been engaged in research and teaching in the fields of biological resource mining, green and low-carbon biological manufacturing and iterative evolution of biochemical technology. Related topics include key technologies for lignocellulosic sugar production and fermentation biofuels/biochemicals; Biological manufacturing technology of feeding antibiotics; Bio-manufacturing technology of highly active protein peptides/amino acids. The relevant technology platforms are: microbial mutagenesis breeding and molecular modification, microbial enzyme directed evolution, high throughput screening; Plant cell wall structure chemistry, separation and extraction of active components, structure analysis of biological macromolecules; Enzyme reaction process, fermentation process optimization and control. In the past five years, his team has undertaken more than 20 provincial and ministerial research projects above the national key research and development Program, National key research and development Program international cooperation projects, National Natural Science Foundation key (joint)/international cooperation projects, as well as more than 10 projects commissioned by enterprises; More than 10 authorized national invention patents (including 1 U.S. patent); Won 6 provincial and ministerial awards and Jiangsu Province "six talent peak" (Class B) and Jiangsu Province "double innovation Doctor" talent and other honors; The team leader is the editorial board member of the international journal J Chem Technol Biotechnol, member of the Chinese Society of Bioengineering and member of the Special Committee on Biomass Energy.
